In both pics the black woman is in a submissive position. The LEFT pic depicts the black woman being hungry for "(INSERT WHATEVER)" and the black man (SIMP) feeds "WHATEVER" to her through social media. If you look close the cereal being poured looks like Facebook, Twitter, google+ symbols and oh boy that black chic eats it up. The second pic she sucking Mercedes Benz key fobs The red pain over the eyes depicts blindness, no direction, not able to see or visualize what they are doing....

Far as art goes...

The art world isn't a place where political correctness reigns and as the saying goes "bad publicity is better than no publicity".

Everybody is talking about him on the interwebs now and because of this controversy, he's going to shine.

I know we all love to say we prefer more good and less drama but, lets be honest with ourselves: There's a reason why people are still obsessed with Kim K, reality t.v., and what Donald Trump is gonna say next.

We humans love drama and messiness. It brings us joy and entertainment. Being good and correct all the time gets boring after a while for folks.

Now, far as the art piece itself:

I can see both sides of the issue.

Why must he only depict Black women?

But, he's a Black male, why should he use only other women?

Why is he sexualizing women with misogyny?

But, don't these women on Instagram choose to objectify themselves? Who is forcing them?

I could go on and on...

I'm not saying I agree with it (he does need to hit on the males that feed into that kind of mess as well) but, I can see how and why it affects people and why art is notorious for invoking emotion.

This, are we really going to pretend that black men are less materialistic than black women? We may not be as into social media and reality tv and so forth but look at your favorite rappers over the past 20 years. We support money cars clothes rappers the most and we love to stunt. that is a big part of the reason so many of them are materialistic in the forst place IMO.

Somehow, the face of gold digging became youngish, fakeish, overly proportioned black women. Just like the face of animal mistreatment is Mike Vick, just like the face of domestic violence is now Ray Rice, just like the face of PEDs is Barry Bonds.

I don't see your point. There's a plethora of black and mixed women who try but reach as far as any millionaire's harem because they aren't favored. But how far deep in a billionaire's harem a black woman reaches doesn't have anything to do with the fact many still degrade themselves and sacrifice their dignity. Except, instead of getting paid what the white girls get, they get paid 200$ to reenact a slave scene. It's the same blind materialism and degradation with added catchet and shame because the girl is play. It doesn't even matter what white girls do; the art is about what black girls do because black girls are what matters. That's what I think the art is about.

Exactly but that's what happens when you romanticize other groups. No fukking group is a monolith where everybody is fukking all together. Them are different types of cats and usually they aren't rolling together like that. Don't know why people set themselves up like that. I have to disagree just the other day I had to call my bank over some unauthorized charges and the agent was a black chick.
I don't what is was whether it was my deep voice, the vocab, the politeness or the number of zero's in my account but she was feeling me heavy over the phone the tension was so real.
After she cleared my charges she asked me if there was anything else she could do for me?

I should've asked for her number even though we might not be in the same area.

This discussion is starting to remind me of the Gamergate stuff going on in the video game community, with how females feel disrespected and exploited.

The same stuff being said here is the same stuff being said there, yet in both places both groups want to segregate themselves as if its a separate problem.

Objectifying women is a Woman's disservice, not just a white woman or black woman's disservice.

On another note, it's funny because in gamer game it's white women being disrespected by white men and the latter only depicting white as stereotypical damsels or sex objects -- but if you listen to black feminists, cacs never stereotype white women and are never sexist to them.
