Being natural is the way to go, anything less is uncivilized.

I love when my girl gets out the shower, just finished washing her hair, lays on my chest and smells like Weaves/Braids/Perms don't allow for such a great moment.

i dont think he's talking about perm. you don't really smell it once it's been washed out.

i figure he's talking about that just dirty ass grease smell that happens when weave wearers don't wash their hair/scalp. all while continuing to use moisturizing products.

i broke up with an ex over this a few years back. tried to get her natural, she went with it for a few weeks and went right back to the weave. stanking ass weaves fukking up my pillow cases and the scent in my car. never again. :aiscust:

I tried to get my ex to go natural, the excuses were comical -

"No I'm not insecure, it's just easier to manage"
"I have to let my hair grow first!"

And yeah, I got with her cause I liked her personality, but the hair became such an annoyance especially when I'd wake up with my shoulder itching

Never had this experience in my life, and i've lived with Black women, two who are hairdressers, and did her in the house. Work around Black women with perms and weaves. Never smelled anything.

Whenever I get close to one, I get this weird ass smell. I can't really describe it.

I think it has to do with hair products. The black females in my family all have long wavy hair, and they just use gel or mouse.

Yeah I have noticed that some White women stink too, but not it's not as common.

Most funky smelling women... Blacks, whites, Indians/south asians, Arabs.
