I agree. It is not as easy as some people make it sound. However, I will make this point; Brothas will continue to have a 100% failure rate if they don't try. If you try and you fail; at least you will know that it wasn't meant to be for you or me; but a few brothas are going to make it, because we got that determination like a moafukka. nikkas come up in sports and in music with no help, no training, no nothing. But they determined we have found out that is good enough for a Black man, because we gots nothing to lose and everything to gain. Black people got what it takes; we just have to use it.

I work with emerging small businesses on a daily. Starting a business is not as cheap and simple as people think it is, unless you're just selling lemonade on the corner or shining shoes. Good luck supporting yourself on those profit margins though.

My point is that instead of telling black women (who face just as much discrimination as black men do) to quit their jobs so black men can work, black men need to go into business for themselves instead of depending on white people to give you something since it's clear white people aren't going to hire our black asses.

I sold stripper costumes. Made a revenue of $700 but it isn't as appealing line of business and fluctuates on well the dudes tip. So, sir don't assume.

op thread title is way off..far from reality...on a few levels... black women are not taking black men jobs for sure...they are given those jobs by the system..if they didnt give em to black women, they would be GIVEN to all the other races out there before its given to a black man GENERALLY speaking... i remember working at goldman sachs in jersey city, nj..(now goldman sachs is the biggest bank in the world) they just began training for the new batch of employees which were close to 200 at one time....(they have offices all over this planet...and at this point in time, the jersey city office along with the huge west side highway office across the street from the old twin towers sight, was designated as the training spot for new employess all over the world) I was there.. i did not work for goldman sachs per say..i worked with a company who did contract work for goldman but i got to sit in on the training sessions...now imagine seeing 200 new employees and only 2 were black males and the black males that were there were not even american!?!? not one black man born in this country was there!!! my mind was like for and hour straight..white, asian, indians, arabs, europeans....you name it, they were there....i was legit mad...i only saw 4 black women: one straight out of africa and the other was from london but extremely light skinned/mixed...this is outta 200 heads!!! now i heard about these things in corporate for years but seeing it with my own eyes is a different story altogether.... and on top of that, one black dude looks real beta, the other one looks straight up gay......From then on, i knew for myself what it was....


i personally think that no matter what your educational background is, EVERY BLACK PERSON/FAMILY SHOULD HAVE A BUSINESS WHETHER MICRO OR MEGA!.DONT BE AFRAID TO START SMALL NEITHER...EVEN IF REVENUE IS JUST 50 BUCKS A WEEK.I ALSO BELIEVE EVERY BLACK PERSON SHOULD START TAKING THE INITIATIVE, EVEN GO OUT OF OUR WAY TO BUY AND SUPPORT BLACK BUSINESS WHEREVER YOU LIVE AND ONLINE
If a your girl/wife is makin 100k per...use that bread as investment money for a business , instead of getting ready to fight our counterparts for a postion in their bullshyt system. besides, they're trying to use the black women as a chess piece against the black family unit by giving them these jobs if you honestly think about it...this shyt aint checkers...move accordingly. what is setup to be used against you, flip it back on the system and parlay it into something positive
