What am I missing in the article about Black men and 25%?

It literally says black men marry out at 24% in the quote u just did.

If u add black men at 24 and black women at 9 that gets to the 17% collectively (really 16.5% buts its rounded).

to get to the real 17.1% one of the numbers(24% or 9% has to be higher than the number given of 17.1

They rounded down to 24% and I rounded up to 25%

Moafukka, that does not mean what you think that it means. The 24% to 9% refers to the likelihood. It states that if Black people get intermarried that it is likely that Black men will do it more than twice as likely as Black Women. That goes to probability.

That is not the same thing as saying that "25% of black males are marrying out." OP is literally saying that if there were 100 Black men that got married; then 25 of them were interracial.

That is complete bullshyt and if you can't understand that then we are done; because you don't understand what was stated and what the article is actually stating.
