My response was to the video and what the girl was saying towards black men you whack ass fukk boy. It's been plenty of obviousness stated in the thread yet u chose mine to address. fukk outta here.

Your response was stupid just like the video. She didn't make any valid points actually. She claims not to generalize black men but the whole video is about how most black men are supposedly colorstruck. Saying "most" black men are colorstruck is the definition of generalizing. She's clearly not too bright on top of being irrationally insecure. I think that she projects her anger at not being put on a pedestal in our society out on black men.

I won't completely dismiss her experiences and say that black men have never dissed her for being dark or whatever but I will dismiss her saying that most black men that she's encountered have done that. She's clearly a decent looking chic and one would have to be naive to believe that no black men check for her. This need that some black people have to generalize the opposite sex negatively and put them on blast does nothing but deepen the wedge that they're complaining about.

It's not a contest. Black women were in the fields working just like the men. They were getting raped just like the men. They were separated from their families just like the men.

Today they are unjustly arrested just like the men. Still being killed for no good reason. Black women are racially profiled. Black women have been killed by the police. Black women have been told they are worthless just like the men.

Professionally, Black women have a hard time at work with passive aggressive Betty's and being labeled as having an "attitude" problem. Maybe black women are hired more than men. Okay. One cookie for you. That is not a reason to dismiss the experiences that we face, because most of them are very similar.

In all seriousness, take women off a pedestal. We are just people. Don't talk to us any differenent than a friend or a random guy. If that's not the issue and talking to people period is, you only gets better the more you do it. Once you get into your field where you have to talk to people more it will become easier. But just striking up conversations with people in class or out somewhere helps. You can always start by asking a question. I hate when people do this, but I am nice and I always talk back. The more you do it the easier it becomes.

Just like job interviews. You are always nervous but the more you go to the less freighting it is. The worse they can say is no and even then you are no worse off than before.

Well, if you refuse to accept logic and evidence that a black man's issues can be more important a black female's--just like cac's males were more important than cac female's in the long run--then I suppose you're just too ignorant and close-minded to argue in the first place. You will never understand why black men don't prioritize some arguments propagated by black females, not because the knowledge is unavailable to you, but because you are loathe to accept it. But nevertheless, the facts are what they are and the chips land where they land. Many but not all of your issues are frivolous, self-defeating and do more harm than good. Except the whole justification for black feminism is that black women suffer more and their issues are ignored. The term Intersectionality was created by black women claiming that they face double discrimination for being black and women. Only when black men call that lie out and prove that black men are in fact the most discriminated group in this society do you all fall back on the "it's not an oppression contest" stuff.

I agree that it's not a competition and that our struggle is shared, that's why I vehemently oppose black feminism.
