Whether cacs are racist or sexist has no bearing on the fact their issues were more important, which is the point. Similarly whether cacs are racist or sexist has no bearing on how gunpowder works. The fact is that cacs did not help white women's issues on a pedestal because they were white women's issues--which is what you ask black men to do. An issue is important on its merits, not because a woman think it's important. Do you agree?

We can agree to disagree.You are never going to convince me as a black women that a black man's issues are more important than mines & any black woman who would ever submit to that doctrine is a lost,plum fool.

Except the whole justification for black feminism is that black women suffer more and their issues are ignored. The term Intersectionality was created by black women claiming that they face double discrimination for being black and women. Only when black men call that lie out and prove that black men are in fact the most discriminated group in this society do you all fall back on the "it's not an oppression contest" stuff.

I agree that it's not a competition and that our struggle is shared, that's why I vehemently oppose black feminism.

Black men's issues and black women's issues are the same. The difference is in how it sometimes manifests. The sooner that is realized, the better for us all.

Family is the foundation of a strong nation. When that is broken, then everything else goes down the drain.

If black women are not loved, cherished, provided for and protected then that impacts the current and next generation. If black men are not encouraged, loved, supported, and allowed to behave responsibly, then that impacts black women, which impacts the children, which continues a cycle.

How people fail to see this is astounding. It would be different if this were new but after centuries of history to reflect upon, we've had enough time to figure out the divide and conquer tactic and how it is detrimental.

There should never be a discussion on whose issues are more important as the issues are one in the same.
