The term I used was a phrase of speech, referring to the frequent nature of the word CAC being thrown around compared to the word ****** being thrown around.

To compare the harshness of the two words is meaningless in this discussion, because no one is really using the other word with much frequency are they?

CAC isn't even a word, isn't a stupid acronym.
And like I said, I don't notice this frequent nature of the acronym being thrown around, other than threads like this.
Never saw it derail any threads, either.

na, we pulled all cuss words from titles simply because of how links to the site are generated (thread title in the URL). we want to provide a censored and uncensored version of the board and we didnt realize our links were uncensored regardless of the censorship option. obviously this will help us with search engine rankings as well as giving us more options for advertising




the racism on here is sad more than anything. if someone wants to be racist, thats on them and its understandable. but i just think we can do better than resorting to calling someone a cac or a c00n when we read something we disagree with. it reflects poorly on everyone how quick we are to jump to race, especially when replies consist of nothing but a few racial remarks with no other thought or effort put into it. its a lazy cop out imo.

The point is not the history of the word, it's the meaning of it and the usage of it. That same sentence could have been Spic, chink, etc any ole nationality. It wouldn't fly in any way with any other race, but for some reason white people are supposed to feel differently about being slandered than you do, because of shyt that happened that we had no part in and that's a frustrating thought to the majority of white people.

But it's definitely an acronym aimed at white people and a lot of times, in a negative way.

Imagine you went to CMT's website and they had an acronym of NGN, and you saw it all over the board. It wouldn't be just a stupid acronym to you would it?

Being white isn't a "crime" but supporting and perpetuating white supremacy(whether it's direct support or indirect) should be a crime. One of the biggest reasons that race relations in this country will always be strained is because 99.9% of white people in America directly or indirectly support the white supremacist system that we live under here, yet they either deny or refuse to deal with the that fact or take responsibility. Until that changes black people should look at whites as the enemy as far as I'm concerned.

The first hurdle is understanding that you have a life advantage by NOT having dark skin, and that can be tough to deal with for white folks who have been through plenty of shyt in their lives and never felt any advantage in their day to day over anyone else.

Not everyone is built for that train of thought. If there a glass half empty person, good luck getting them to think that they have it better than other people based off the color of their skin.

And people in general don't have time to think about race equality, from both sides of the fence.

How do I support the white supremacist system, tell me that please.

And white people do listen, not all of them, maybe not the majority but a lot of them do. I just think there's a line between things we should listen to and learn from and things that are absurd and we need to stand up for ourselves against.

Whenever someone says my people are responsible for slavery, that's when that line is crossed and that's when i`ll stand up for myself.

But I am completely open to listen and learn about the injustices blacks and others have suffered due to their ethnicity because it's clear as day those injustices happen all over the country at a pretty frequent rate in 2012.

You just can't have 100% free reign to claim everything though, it's not like everything a black person says about racial issues is a valid statement, some of it is off the wall illogical nonsense.

It's really just the worst of society usually, all that really negative stuff people wont share because they are worried about public image, that is the life blood of the net.
