You can't wear your disloyalty as a badge of honor and then say you are with your black men. You can't brag about how independent you are and then say you have allegiance to black men. Like Tariq beautifully stated, "Independence is the opposite of loyalty. You have no loyalties. You have no ties. It's all about YOU." Black men aren't even unified at this juncture. Not by a LONG shot. Black men have a crabs in the barrel mentality and hate when another black man becomes successful. If black people were unified the term "hater" wouldn't even exist.

Breh, I asked **** in another thread to name a single black man he knows (including himself even though he may be a cac) that went through any of the headaches or issues he spouts about black women. All he's doing is regurgating a tired argument used by dudes who's past can't be verified.

Like I said in previous threads, Ima be 30 in a few months, and I've never run into these types of broads y'all constantly complain about. All of my exes and women I've dealt with have been real chill, cool, down to earth women, and I only date black women.

I'll ask you the same question I asked him/her/it, who do you personally know (including yourself) actually went through this hell on earth you described dealing with a black woman?

I feel you on that broadcasting thing. All those ABC specials make me cringe. Let me state though, I don't think all black women are stuck in the "strong independent black woman" mindset, but the ones who are tend to be the loudest and ruin the IMAGE (not reality) of black women. The perception is that black women don't need black men. If you were to watch those ABC Specials where "successful" black women were talking about men being intimidated by their success and this and that you'd believe that all black women thought that way. A lot do though, but not as overtly as people would think. This topic went way left field. My point is that black people have a long way to go before they can be consider unified by any merit.
