My whole point was that the complaint of using of batteries is totally overblown by non-xbox users and that the DS4 battery life is abysmal compared to the other consoles anyway. Where's the fallacy?:hubie:
Why imply that anyone who complains about batteries are non Xbox users? You realize the 360's controller used batteries too right? This isn't some new thing. It's 2020, people are like smh batteries still? It's not a freaking deal breaker but it's just a thing that is like pfft whatever.

The complaint of DS4's battery life is legitimate which I AGREED with but you wanted to play dumb and kept acting like you didn't see me say that multiple times to push this other point about battery life which wasn't the main point.

the convenience argument is obviously out the window because you have to swap out the DS4 literally twice as often if not more and are more likely to run the risk of draining the battery in a single play session.
You keep saying swap out the DS4 as if everybody just has multiple DS4 controllers laying around fully charged. I only have one DS4 controller, the other one I had got broken when trying to fix an internal issue and I didn't bother to replace it this late in the generation.

You keep speaking for everyone by saying the battery will drain in a single play session. News flash, everybody isn't playing 10 hour sessions every day. Maybe for YOU it's draining in a single play session but everybody isn't you, everyone isn't just putting in 8 hours in a day without ever plugging in the controller.

Everybody isn't me either but to add to this, I may only get on for about an hour or two max. Usually if I get on and my battery is low, I simply plug the cord in. Now are you going to sit here and act like a micro usb cable is this rare cable that nobody has? Point is you don't even have to SWAP out anything since everybody doesn't just have mad controllers to spare. The DS4 battery life could have been better but I gotta give the side eye to someone acting like it's really a hassle plugging in a cable to charge the controller while gaming or after gaming vs just having stacks of rechargeable batteries laying around ready to go.

I NEVER worry about that with the Switch pro controller or X1, only my DS4 and ive played thousands of hours on all 3.
Okay? The point is plugging in a cord is JUST as simple as swapping out batteries. The point I've been repeating here is solely focused on the "ease" of charging the controller. Unless you're going to say you're sitting several feet away from your TV and don't have a long USB cable, I think this "swapping out DS4" complaint is being pushed aggressively for no reason.

130 hours on Persona 5 most recently where I was routinely swapping out my controllers multiple times in a single session. But that extra 30 seconds of swapping xbox batteries every 4-5 days and 40 hours of gameplay is what you dudes are hung up on, OK:stopitslime:
You're hung up on plugging in a frigging cable that takes 5 seconds, a cable I'm sure the average person has easy access to since they most likely have cell phones and other chargers/devices that use the same cable PLUS the console comes with a USB cable anyway.

And I already told you I own multiple rechargeable batteries for other electronics in my house that have lasted me years, this is isn’t some grand expense solely for my Xbox :mjlol:, we're talking a $25 purchase thats good for multiple years and has value outside of just gaming. Let alone the fact that I already had these things before I even owned my xbox so there was literally no extra cost in my case. Plus you can still used a cord without batteries if you absolutely need to, and have the option for a play and charge kit if you're extra adamant about it. On top of that, X1 controllers are cheaper to manufacture because of this and go on sale more frequently than DS4s, so there goes your "value" argument
A X1 and DS4 are both $59.99 right now and I've seen the DS4 go on sale plenty of times. Besides, the point isn't about what's on sale more often or whether you probably had rechargeable batteries in your house from other items.

So let's roll with that, you got rechargeable batteries with the charger already but micro usb cables are these uncommon, hard to find items? I literally could ask someone nearby for a micro usb cable and they'll have several and I've seen this in third world countries let alone in the USA yet people just having a bunch of double AA batteries on hand is not so common.

For example today I got a PC remote controller from Amazon and that shyt came with no AAA batteries. I just took the batteries out of my audio receiver controller to use it yet if it was built in I wouldn't have to worry about that. It's not about the cost of batteries it's just the minor annoyance of having to have batteries laying around when most electronics today don't use em. There's literally about 3~5 devices in my immediate vicinity right now that requires batteries(two wireless mice and the X1 controller+ TV/Audio remote) while everything else is USB charged. USB charging is far more common than freaking batteries man.

Tl;dr plugging in a cord to charge is not such a big deal man.

Spreading lies. I've never had a PlayStation controller die
They sell way too many of them for it to not be an issue. Apparently Microsoft must have hired a bunch of shills online, look at this bullshyt

Still using batteries :beli:
You think the ds4 doesn't have a battery inside of it? It's just a weak battery and instead of making it replaceable they force you to buy a new one if it dies. You'll have to learn how to switch them out in the future because new ds4 controllers won't exist soon :banderas:
:gucci: y'all really defend every dumb fukkin move that Microsoft has made, there is no fukkin reason in 2020 for nikkas to be "buying batteries" for video game controllers:mjlol:
We get rechargeable controller packs that cam be used even after our controllers break or we upgrade? Same cheap battery pack works. :win: The ds5 will bre Sony's most expensive controller to date. You better not ever drop it, it's heavy and possibly fragile...
So you trying to tell me, the same n*ggas who was up in arms about the DS4 not working on the PS5 are cool with purchasing pretty much the exact same controller for the new Xbox? :gucci:
Strawmen and what do you feel needs upgrading?
So you have rechargeable batteries on standby for Xbox but a simple USB cable for the PS4 is out of reach? You can continue playing while you're charging the controller. Plus what about if you DON'T have rechargeable batteries?

You're basically saying that a $59.99 controller should then require rechargeable battery packs which run about another $20 bringing the cost to about $80 while you can just simply plug your controller on PS4 and charge it either overnight or while you're gaming.

Batteries in 2020 is stupid as fukk. What's next if MSFT made a handheld with batteries y'all would say that's awesome too?

Edit:The DS4 battery life is not the sole point of this either.
Every advantage you gave for the ds4 applies to the xbox as well so you made no points there. You can recharge while you game on xbox  and while I would prefer if they included the rechargeable battery, what has come to light in this thread is more important. And it's not surprising you don't wanna talk about it. The ds4's battery life being trash. Instead of spending $20 once, you'd rather struggle :hhh:

Sohh Sony nikkaz can't afford battery packs? They putting DENTS into your bank accounts? Y'all nikkaz gotta budget for batteries? I apologize on behalf of Microsoft for being so insensitive to the average Sony gamers situations

I thought TLR was the dumbest section on this website. This one is sneaking in to take that position.

Dudes in here criticizing MS for batteries like a usb cord or rechargeable controllers don’t exist :gucci:

Day before that after telling one of them about how technologically advance MSFS is (its a flight sim)

He says "who cares, dont you just fly around anyway?" :russ: :ohlawd:

What you quoted has nothing to do with battery life
