20 Million Previews. Estimated 65 Million Friday. Estimated 150-155 Million OW. Breaks June Opening Weekend Record. This is why Steven Spielberg and George Lucas are the GOATS. Jurassic Park and Star Wars might end up being the two biggest movies of the year. Franchises that are 25 and 40 years old.

I just saw it and in this universe do the other movies even happen? I mean do they happen the same way we saw them happen? Because I can't understand how this theme park was even made.

The movie is literally the 1st movie all over again. The only difference is the park is open.

The first Jurassic Park showed more sense than this one.

I couldn't help but be more interested in the Jurassic World universe than the actual movie. If they have found a way to make dinosaurs and even hybrid dinosaurs just imagine what kind of experiments they're doing back on the homeland with that kind of science and technology. Cloning humans, hybrid humans, this is probably how the movie Gattaca started.

I've really only seen Jurassic Park. Never saw 2 or 3 because people were Iffy about the sequels. Just saw Jurassic World and it was Good. I consider it in the same Universe as Jurassic Park though, am I the only 1 that saw some things that were in Park? It was Good overall in 3D, the effects looked Awesome and it really even made me think about Park aging decent.

Cornfields, cows, & an one stoplight town
Better than expected. Probably because I went in with low expectations. Once I got over the dumb premise that a trained animal specialist and ex-naval officer would enter an animal's cage with no gun, it became fun.

Dialogue was pretty silly though, and the srntimtalitly felt contrived. That said, it was a fun popcorn flick.

I didn't like the 'tamed Raptors' angle....that was absurd lol

The movie after the N-Rex was revealed be half-Raptor(which I figured out early), though >>>>>>>>
Eh the raptors weren't tamed though. They just had bonded with humans as they did imprint on Owen

I've been seeing a lot of this and I want to clarify a couple things because people are making this angle out to be more ridiculous than it really was.

The premise isn't absurb if you dont think of the dinosaurs as impossible sci-fi monsters and instead think of them as simply animals, which the movie did well to mention several times throughout. People work with and train all sorts of animals including big cats and such that could easily have them for lunch, so this wasn't that far off.

Secondly, its not like Macklin had the raptors doing tricks and shyt. He jumped in the cage as a spur of the moment thing to save the kid's life. They established that he had been working with these raptors since they were babies and he still had to dive to safety because they were about to tear him apart.

I liked that the plan to hunt the IR with the raptors immediately backfired as well, proving how absurb THAT was. :heh:

Exactly ! The movie stressed how they were living breathing animals and didn't know they were test tube amusements. Also how he couldn't control the raptors he had bonded to them but they were still wild. I think some people missed the points the movie was making , in the similarities to Jp , all the stuff .
