That was my fear when I first started but the strange thing is the longer you do it the less food you need. Your stomach shrinks and u end up having more energy.

THIS !!!!!

I'm going through it now

I was planning on smashing some shyt today, Couldnt even finish my Bowl from Chipotle. Forcing down this fruit and kale smoothie before I go back to fasting

For me, It's damn near impossible to break 1600 calories when I eat I'm a stocky, burly MF. This fasting shyt is:mindblown:

Not gone argue with my body though, If its reached its limit for the day I aint gone force it.

OMAD is the only diet I find works 100%
But its really hard in the beginning before your body adapts. Eventually you stop feeling so hungry and even eating as much as you used to feels hard. I still broke my diet to eat socially though, so if I was going out on the weekend I ate normally.

Funny how fasting is getting so popular now. I remember just a few months ago when I first started posting about fasting and the reactions to it.

I've being doing OMAD for a few months now while trying to lean bulk. I basically eat as much as I can in one sitting each day. It works when lean bulking as well.

There's no reason to ever eat more than once a day.

Doing it now mixed with HIIT (evenings for 25 min) and a hour walk around the track (Mornings)

losing 6 to 7 lbs every 8 days

For me , It's the only form of fasting worthwhile

When I do break my fast, I cant even eat that much anymore. I'll probably eat 25% of my meal before I get stuffed.
What's hiit?

I used to do one meal a day on and off, but one time I did it for a few months straight without breaking and that was the best shape I've ever been in my life physically, mentally, and spiritually. I was doing intense yoga and meditating every day around that time, as well. The diet only enhanced those practices. Lately though, I've been watching a lot of content from Dr. Wesley Muhammad and he has me wanting to get back into that How To Eat To Live regimen. I'm planning everything out now for the next time I go grocery shopping.

What's hiit?

HIIT = HIgh Intensity Interval Training

basically

It's just doing high intensity exercise in short burst

Sprint for 30 seconds, rest for a minute
skipping rope for a minute and taking a minute break
hitting the heavy bag on and off for 25 minutes

basically the goal is to keep your heart rate elevated over a period of time while alternating between high and low intensities. It allows you to push yourself to the max anaerobically for intermittently without completely gassing out from exhaustion.

25-30 minutes is enough but when I'm skipping rope it could last 45-50 minutes just because I seem to get "runner's high" after the 15-20 minute mark.

Currently 72 hours into a 7-day fast.
One day remaining.:win:
The longest I went was 10 days.:whew:

Mine was 3.

I guess it's because my body is better fat-adapted than my previous attempts at prolonged fasts, but this go-around has been very easy.

I've had zero desire to eat. NO cravings whatsoever.

There was some physical discomfort on days 3-5, but it was very manageable.

I'd go longer if wasn't for the food in my fridge that is about to spoil.

Just found this thread, but fukk it.

Long story short, I was 270 pounds around last year/a year and a half ago. I did OMAD because even though 16/8 intermittent fasting was cool, I wasn't losing much weight.

I did OMAD and it took some time to lose weight, but when I started losing weight, the pounds started falling off fast as shyt.

I didn't and still don't have a gym membership, by the way.

I just started back on OMAD, I'm currently around the 160 LBS area. I think I'm gonna drop to 145 LBS.

Thanks, I'm slowly getting back on OMAD, I'm starting off with 16:8 Intermittent fasting, then as my body slowly adjusts to it, I'll do 20:4 then 23:1, then I'll officially start OMAD.

I don't know if it's good to just jump straight into OMAD.

My height is 5'5, so being 270 LBS wasn't it.
