
I lost 30 pounds once cause I basically stopped eating over a 2 to 3 week period. I was kind of in a depressed state during that time though..

Ok, need some advice, if I'm just starting this for the first time, and looking to drop at least 20-30 lbs, would y'all recommend the 24 hour fast or the 16 & 8 fast I saw somebody mentioned? And if it's the 24 hour fast, how many days per week should I do this? Thanks in advance.
Yea I would start out with the 16/8 first. Then see how it fits your lifestyle. Stick with what works for you. I started out doing 24hour fasts twice a week, then recently switched over to eating once a day.

When you eat once a day, are you still basically doing a 24 hour fast, like eating at the same time every day? Or does it matter?
On the ride to work I wanted to peel off into Einsteins and grab a bacon/egg/cheddar onion bagel with a iced sugar cookie or half the menu....but I held it down. lolThanks. Sh!t aint easy. lol I usually eat at 7pm every night, just due to how my schedule is. I hit the gym at 5 after work. After that I'm ready to smash on somethin turrible. lol I usually eat one big meal, a shake and some fruit. I'll maybe stop eating at 11pm, then eat again at 7 the next day.

I smell you. So basically u fast from 11 pm to 7 pm. I'm actually gonna try and do that today. I had a green smoothie around 11:00 last night, and I told my wife not to make me a sandwich. I'm gonna do legs around 2:00, then I got some paperwork here in my cube to keep me occupied. I'm gonna take my car to have a tire replaced, then grab some grub, I figure that will take me to around 7:00. Usually once I get past initial "hunger", I'm good to go.
