Yep, and I loved how they would switch things up like enemies you can only beat with parries and nothing else. And always introducing new mechanics but not overwhelming you to the point it got annoying to remember everything. They did a great job of keeping you engaged with combat all the way to the end on top of the great story, characters, and music.Yeah, this is probably the most engaging turned based combat in an RPG that I've ever played. It has the snappy, quick feel of Persona on the offense side due to how quick and adjustable your menu options are and the defense side is super demanding in the best of ways since every enemy has their own unique attack strings n shyt.
