Still in Act 2. Took down the first axon. Maelle been consistently hitting the damage ceiling with her nukes. On the 5 hit extreme attack she has non-crits that are 9999 :dead:

I like Lune as a character and I bring her for heals and resurrection sometimes but I'm having a hard time getting her to put out big numbers like the rest. Mainly she puts up some burns and that's about it. What skill loadout ya'll run with her? Sciel kinda took her spot lately.
She exists just to put fire on people so i can stack it with the other two girls.

She gets some high damage skill later on, but she’s still the fire girl for me with an occasional revive when i need it.

Get that weapon that gives Stains on free aim shots (Trebuchim?) and then use Mayhem.

It builds the Break meter super fast.

She has another skill (Elemental Genesis) that does crazy damage as well, but it's later.

Side note, I got to Act 3 after the Maelle nerf and she's still doing 64,000,000 damage. :dead:

They didn't even need to nerf her because functionally there's no difference between 64 million and 1 billion. Nothing in the game survives in either case.

My whole plan was with lune was to setup mayhem. She had a weapon that generated stains on free aim and her heals strains are basically free strain.

Someone tell me what level I need to be for the absolute last boss.
if you can make it there then you can beat the last boss for sure.

If you do ANY of the Act 3 content it will basically over level you to the point where the final fight is a joke.

I did Maelle’s quest and frozen heart just to get strong enough to do the lumina glitch in old Lumiere and that over leveled me like crazy. Didn’t do anything else in act 3 besides that and was high 50s maybe low 60s. One shot the last boss

Had to YouTube the last fight to actually see the moves

Stendhal with the Medalum sword.

You need Maelle to go last, Sciel first (All Set and Fortune's Fury) then Monoco (Hexga Crush and Chapelier Slash) then Maelle.

Maelle also needs as many +damage Pictos (Roulette, Inverted Affinity, Confident Fighter, Glass Cannon, First Offensive, Immaculate, etc.) on her.

There's variations of this build but you can probably do more damage with a half ass version than you'd ever need.

I suck at creating builds. I'll have an idea on what the individual things do but putting them all together to create something great eludes me. I get choice paralysis alot and that shyt don't help at all.

There's a bunch of videos specifically for this.

Or just mix and match until you find something that works. You don't really need any crazy builds until Renoir's Drafts, Endless Tower, etc. The optional Act 3 end game stuff.

I didn't use the Mayhem build with Lune at all I think. I was either stacking Dark Stains or stealing turns with her Ice/Earth/Break build

If you need to make it easier to create builds and have the time to farm, you can return to old Lumiere and fight the optional boss thats unlocked. Its a Daneuse that summons 2 other nevrons constantly. These nevrons drop 5 lumina each, so if you kill that pair of enemies without killing the boss you just get 10 lumina each time. I did this basically for like 20 mins or something and had both Sciel and Maelle to 500 points.

Parrying based on listening closely for the audio queues is way more effective than trying to parry by visually trying to catch the rhythm of the attacks.
Every single attack has an audio queue before landing. I've gotten to the point that I barely ever dodge. Even with enemies I'm not familiar with, I've been able to parry their attacks. Only the main bosses have made me run them back two or three times, and it's mainly because their animations can be intimidating and have me jumping the gun, but when you lock in and use your ears more than your eyes your parry accuracy is going to significantly improve.
