Parrying a multi hit attack the first time seeing it.Parrying based on listening closely for the audio queues is way more effective than trying to parry by visually trying to catch the rhythm of the attacks.
Every single attack has an audio queue before landing. I've gotten to the point that I barely ever dodge. Even with enemies I'm not familiar with, I've been able to parry their attacks. Only the main bosses have made me run them back two or three times, and it's mainly because their animations can be intimidating and have me jumping the gun, but when you lock in and use your ears more than your eyes your parry accuracy is going to significantly improve.
I tried to put effort into parrying but honestly it’s just so unnecessary. Dodge timing is significantly easier. I like the parry mechanic, it feels great, I just wish it felt more useful to get good at. It honestly feels like it’s just something to do rather than something required.Parrying based on listening closely for the audio queues is way more effective than trying to parry by visually trying to catch the rhythm of the attacks.

Get that weapon that gives Stains on free aim shots (Trebuchim?) and then use Mayhem.
It builds the Break meter super fast.
She has another skill (Elemental Genesis) that does crazy damage as well, but it's later.
Fred.
It's SO satisfying to run back the fade with a Chromatic enemy you were underleveled for before on some

Yo this is crazy. She putting up numbers now. Elemental Genesis is crazy
You're fishing for the 4 colors and using Genesis when it's up right? Otherwise Mayhem?

I made it through all the content basically never parrying. I basically just ignored all the parry based pictos
Parrying is much better than dodging, you get AP per hit and a chance to counter attack.
Just dodging nonstop can make the middle of the game harder. At least on Expert, before you get all the AP Pictos.
Fred.
You get the AP dodge pictos very early in the game.
Hell yea bro I think so too but also after a while when you get to a point where Maelle 1 shots everything it really doesnt matter I havrnt tried NG+ yet I should but I'm still tryna beat the true endgame boss or i could just come back to that. SaveI wonder if Gustaves death was a late add. Than again the fact that both use swords maybe not. If Verso used a different weapon I think Gustave might initially not have been suppose to die. It is def weird that when your initial 3 gets wiped out they due the whole expedition has been wiped screen and than only 2 people come out. That and Simons mechanic tells me maybe it should of been 6 playable.
Stedfall only move you need to do when you got the purple swordWhat move you doing with that much damage![]()
Even though I already ran though pretty much everything I must be deaf because audio cues ddidnt help me for shyt I just learned the patternsParrying based on listening closely for the audio queues is way more effective than trying to parry by visually trying to catch the rhythm of the attacks.
