Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (April 24, 2025)

I beat Sprong --> flew over to fight Serpenphare --> died to Serpenphare --> game loads back up --> i'm on the entrance to the Dark Shore --> I fly back up to fight Serpenphare --> I notice "Cheater" isn't activating --> I die again to Serpenphare --> game loads back up, and i check my pictos again --> Cheater is nowhere to be found -->I fly back over to find Sprong --> Sprong is there, very much alive --> I have to beat him again

The game didn't save after I beat Sprong the first time. I don't think the game saves when Esquie is flying, which is plain dumb as hell. I flew to Sprong to trigger the fight.

Damn breh… I always save after every major fight… I know the game auto saves… but I did that for this exact reason … can’t take any chances… I’d be heated if after a 30 mins boss fight, my joint didn’t save

GOTY, not even being remotely hyperbolic either.

Outside of a few random things that felt VERY anti-RPG IMO Dying with an affliction and being revived STILL having it, for example, this game takes me back to fukking FF7. One particular fight, depending on your level, takes about as much time as fighting a Weapon. Finally beat that joker after what felt like forever and I knew immediately after this game was special.

You know you gotta fight her 3 times right? Better get your weight up… the first time is the hardest though … fought her at the arena.. then sacred river and then flying arena

anytime u fight her outside of her hut, she's much easier.

She's only tough to beat bc she's bulky as fukk

what i did was parry regularly until she gets angry. before the "angry" phase, she only has 3 different attack patterns.

When she does get angry, dodge the regular attacks and only parry the gradient attack she does.

If you're using Maelle, between Phantom Strike and the gradient parry, you will get enough to get LV3 gradient attacks. Use Gommage and she dies eventually
