Well, pictos like cheater, inverted, first offensive. Do you have these?
i dont have inverted. i just got cheater but the fukking game didn't save after i beat sprong so i have to fight him again.

A gripe i have with this game is its inconsistent autosave feature. sometimes it'll save when u edit pictos and lumina, but it doesnt when you are flying with Esquie. It's so terribly done. It also doesn't save after boss fights like Sprong, which is ridiculous. you have to run somewhere and fing a flag and rest, or just switch pictos on land and then switch back just for the save to initiate.

thats TERRIBLE game design. Once i finish the main story i'll write up my likes and gripes with this game

Metaphor ReFantazio for example would save after EVERYTHING, which is what you expect from a game like this. Why do i have to manual save for everything. Does this game even have Manual save? I've never used it

Go to camp from the world map to force an autosave whenever you want

must be a glitch. Mine saves after every fight
mine definitely doesnt, and any pictos gained will have to be redone. The game is missing a few very basic QoL features that you'd expect from any JRPG-style game

Like having NO mini-map in the overworld or specific sites. is insane. i have to zoom out to find the location i want and then open the map up 2 or 3 times to make sure im going in the right direction. No waypoint system either is crazy. Esquie's controls in the overworld are clunky, traversal is also unpolished. You can hit a slight ridge while running and it completely stops you, so you have to jump over that small ridge. Also the characters veer to the right slightly. It's not noticeable except for when you have to walk a straight narrow line. You'll end up falling off

Typically mine does that as well, long as I won the fight anyways. Also, I've never had it not save after making any pictos/equipment changes. If it is a glitch, then it definitely has to effect absolutely everyone tho. Cuz that's how glitches work. Everyone has to experience the same glitch in order for it to be real. If even one person doesn't experience the glitch, then it can't be really a glitch or that person doesn't know how to make the glitch happen because glitches are always universal, for everyone and all that come after. Forever and always.

I beat Sprong --> flew over to fight Serpenphare --> died to Serpenphare --> game loads back up --> i'm on the entrance to the Dark Shore --> I fly back up to fight Serpenphare --> I notice "Cheater" isn't activating --> I die again to Serpenphare --> game loads back up, and i check my pictos again --> Cheater is nowhere to be found -->I fly back over to find Sprong --> Sprong is there, very much alive --> I have to beat him again

The game didn't save after I beat Sprong the first time. I don't think the game saves when Esquie is flying, which is plain dumb as hell. I flew to Sprong to trigger the fight.

That might be the factor. I don't typically start fights while flying Esquie.
