I'm seeing this game compared to Lost Odyssey. I guess that makes sense. I turned off Lost Odyssey after they forced some annoying children into the party and never touched it again.

This wasn't a bad game at all but I found myself mostly playing it to see what the big mystery was about. Once I got to those reveals I totally lost interest in playing this and if I'm being honest I'll probably never play it again either.

I hope this studio's next game goes in a completely different direction and isn't a sequel to this.

Ngl I played this shii on accident on game pass without knowing it had a lil buzz.

Beautiful fukking game visually, the soundtrack is top notch
Cool selection visually appealing enemies to fight

The scene where Gustave ol lady dissapeared was fukked up

Ik it was supposed to be like a return to the FF turn based roots but that shii turned me off, that shyt was slow as fukk and it made dodging stupid as fukk lol

Ironically I feel like it would have benefited more from the free flowly FFXV fight system more than FFXV did. Or at least used the FF7 remake one.

First half of the game I was confused as fukk story wise
They lowkey bit off a bit Attack on Titan though lol

Lost Odyssey was so far ahead of it's time. That game would do wonders if it got a proper remaster.

just wrapped this up. easy game of the year imo and gonna be the refresh for JRPGs for years to come

would've posted in here a lot more but i didn't even want to entertain the chance of being spoiled on this

i was waaaay too overpowered towards the end though i don't think i saw an attack animation from the enemy for the entire final area

We all know Nintendo loves to approve degenerate games on their platforms. Easiest place to get one approved.

Game is cooked crack

Got my first 9999 with Maelle. Took down the boss of the forest area. Got close and lost right near the end a couple times. When I beat ol boy he got straight mollywhopped. fukked up one attack otherwise it would have been no damage.

Are these mime things beatable when you first encounter them? They take barely any damage.

Gotta break them. Once you get some better abilities for that then they aren't bad.
