Lil Durk started off one of his biggest songs with “I remember claiming Dipset” so I really doubt he’d prefer a Pusha T verse to Jim Jones. Jim has recent songs with Migos, Fivio Foreign, Young Bleu, Benny the Butcher, etc. so what makes Pusha T more relevant musically? Because he has an entire album produced by Pharell & Kanye? Because he’s premiering music at Pharell’s LV fashion

You really mentioned Durk? :dead:

We are talking about Jim individually. Not Dipset

How many rappers can get a Jay feature on site?

Jim is/was signed to Rocnation for management and he couldn't even get a Jay feature compared to Pusha who isn't even signed to Rocnation. Jay actually respects Pusha's pen game unlike Jimmy. That puts an end to your argument right there

Pusha has recent songs with Jay, Gibbs, Alicia Keys, Uzi, Royce, Benny, Symba, Since you mentioned Fivio Foereign, Pusha has a song with Babyface Ray

The thing is I fukk with Jim's music but some of ya'll sound fukking ridiculous in this thread

Durk is one of the most impactful/influential artists of this new generation, so why wouldn’t I mention him when that’s relevant to the topic of this thread? Jim Jones is synonymous with Dipset. That would be like Durk sayin “I remember claiming ReUp Gang” and someone saying we’re talking about Pusha; not ReUp Gang. Jim Jones and Jay has always had bad blood so I don’t think anyone was ever really expecting a Jim x Jay Z feature.

Yes. I don’t even think Pusha is that much better of a rapper than Jim is. I just think Pusha’s career has been curated better than most due to his affiliations. Without the Pharell and Kanye production and connections Push is Benny the Butcher status. For example just being able to premier a diss record at a Louie Vuitton show in Paris is next level. Push didn’t obtain that opportunity on his own merit tho, he was afforded that opportunity due to his affiliation with Pharell. No knock it just is what it is.
lmaoo and what would jim be without cam. I grew up on dipset so im not tryna shyt on him but he was the least influential out of the big 3. Push is leagues better than jim and yall know it yall just wanna argue lol

Everyone had help from someone getting in the game, but the point is Pusha has never done anything to eclipse Pharell. He just benefits off of his affiliation to Pharell and Kanye. Do u think there was ever an opportunity that Pusha brought to the table for Pharell that Pharell couldn’t do for his self? On the other hand someone could make the argument that Jim has eclipsed Cam in some ways. Although Cam is a legendary artist with a solid discog one could argue he’s never had a song with the impact of a “We Fligh High”. It wouldn’t be outlandish to say that Jim has brought opportunities to the table for Cam that he wasn’t able to do for his self.

What if Pusha T had to use those same “cheap Koch beats” that u speak of instead of having 2 of the greatest producers of all time to curate his albums. Would u still believe Pusha was that much of a better artist than Jim?
Bro… pharrell doesn’t just produce albums for bums. Not only did he have the beats but he capitalized. At the end of the day beatz do matter it is music.. but you still have to do the shyt justice its 50/50. Even if Jim jones had those hell hath no fury beats he wouldn’t know what to do with them :yeshrug: :mjlol:

In Dallas, From Cleveland
Christy kissed it in Miami…..,

As someone in the south that sums up Jim Jones impact. I wouldn’t consider either as influential, Pusha has the more memorable verses and was on some classic songs, better rapper.

Jim was the 3rd dude in dip set :yeshrug:
