Bringing up Brady is really a waste of time. Brady didn’t have to win games early in his career. Yes, he had to make some clutch plays but the team was not depending on him like the colts did Peyton. When a defense turns it up during the playoffs its usually the way to win the ship. Look at the teams who usually win it, the defense hits another level over what they do in the regular season.

The colts routinely had a bad defense in all those peyton years. The year they won the SB their defense finally nutted up but they let MJD rush for like 250 one game.



In 2007 colts defense let billy voleck drive down the field after peyton gave them theeaf.

In the 09 SB brees was like 30-35 all game.

2010 defense gave it up vs the jets after manning gave them theead.

2005 mike V missed a fg after peyton put them in range following bettis fumble

I could list moments like that for any legendary QB.
