not about the rat race
you need money to have a comfortable life
never said anyone should have a family but you should have money to be in that financial position if you choose
in order to be free I feel like you need money
Now this I agree with…💰is Everything

i agree

you not in the young adult bracket socially, economically or intellectually no more by the time you 35. earlier than that fr. you’re in a no man’s land between being young and old, which can simply be called middle aged

i got some regrets from my 20s but everything that is successful and comfortable for me today is built directly on top the capital i built back then without even realizing or doing it on purpose per se

of course everyone can start over at any age, but you can’t really progess if you keep having to start from zero or the negatives. at some point you gotta commit to something

compound interest is a very real thing not just financially but on the metaphysical plane. theres a difference between starting to invest in life at 21 vs starting to invest at 51

I think part of the reason we push the middle aged label back is because you spent the first 18 years of your life with no agency. If you went to college you spent the first 22 years of your life in school.

It's hard to tell someone 35 they're middled aged when they've only controlled their life for about a decade. Regardless age is just a number. The way you maintain your body and health is your true age.

Lil nikkas that eat checkers every day and smoke copious amounts of weed while poppin perc 30s telling me Im :flabbynsick: cause Im 32 is fukking hilarious. Cant even get hard :dame: for these fine ass 23 year old broads while Im out here robbing cradles :blessed:

Shout out to the thorough Gen Z dudes tho no hate

Oh and it says here middle age starts at 45

what you do for bread? you don't work at all? breh just take the power chord from your Nintendo and cut that hoe up n get 2 it.

you can turn your life around at any point
but people should be striving to be financially stable at 25

FR FR....NGL it posses more challenges the longer you wait. On almost every metric. Being stable by 25 is doable but you gotta be different 2 get it done.

I mean on a deep level he isn’t exactly wrong, but the truth of the matter is you still need a place to sleep, food to eat, clothes to wear, safety, and you want the same for those you love.

Unless you plan to literally live on the street and starve to death because you have a nihilistic view of things —you need a job.

Wither away in depression and nihilism or create your own meaning for your life?

On a deep level he's 100% wrong lol

Life and society is about Relationships and how well you leverage these relationships into opportunities for you to be successful

Bruh you lived your life. I'm not 30 yet but I'm the opposite of you. I grew up super discipline and focused. I also feel like I wasted some time but rather because I spent a lot of my 20s focusing on my career. I got a bunch of certs. Was in the military. Not only am I childless but I'm also infertile. I got a vasectomy. I never wanted to be put on child support I don't ever plan on getting married either unless I ever meet a chick who doesn't ever nag or complain bout shyt and who's not butt ass ugly she's only good and nice cuz she looks handsome in the face. It'll be sunny outside and the bytch talkin about "I'm hot!" like how you hating on sunshine and happiness bytch. So I did all that focusing on a career and being discipline, avoiding shyt that get other nikkas caught up like messing with birds, jail, or baby momma drama. Just so I can have a bunch of leisure time doing shyt I could've already been doing.

breh...not gonna lie....you a dikkhead for taking the type to reply to OP with that :russ:

There will be generational shifts in what is considered normal at different ages, you saw that happening after the 2008 Recession, when people were making less, and overburdened by student debt, couldn't buy when home and ARM's/loan's were low, and then were trying to buy in a hot market about 6-7 years later, I'm in that exact range, of being 22 in 2008.

As far as what you want out of life, the idea that everyone gets to choose everything is not really accurate, people are influenced by family, neighborhood, economic situation, and the larger shifts in the world, as I described above, there's a slightly different reality where I get a girl pregnant in middle school (shoutout Tiffany) and just forever altered my life. Had I lived closer to her, and been over at her house, everyday,(while her Mom was gone) it could have easily happened. As it was, I had stronger influences, friend's families that kept me closer to my own immediate neighborhood, and "safer" in a sense.

There's another alternate path where I get a different woman pregnant when I was 18, it wasn't that I was so smart, some is that, some is luck, some is other influences in my life. I could have been washed and burned out so many times, it's a shock to me, I'm still here.
