Nah seriously I’m going to see how this goes & depending on how I feel I might stretch it.

Is it wise to bench press during a fast? Knowing you have to work 60 hours this week.

Is it wise? Not really, no.

Doable? Yes.

You won't be any stronger (you may in fact feel much weaker and you won't have glycogen to use for fuel), but if you're not a 3 plate+ bencher then what does it matter?

You're obviously not tryna be a powerlifter so at this point your performance is kind of irrelevant.

Not sure how much mass you can effectively put on during a fast but Imma assume building lean muscle isn't your goal right now.

I try not to step into the gym in the mornings with less than 1000 kcals, and at least 2500 or so in the afternoon but I also don't starve myself or intentionally lose weight so YMMV ofc.

Been IF for 5 months now

- started at 16:8 now at 18:6
- Fasted workouts for 3.5 months ( 4 days a week avg.)
- Jan 1st 217lbs with a belly and fat face
- Current Hovering 175lbs-ish
- Still eating my sweets (Crumbl, ice cream, etc.)
- Was doing 10-15k steps a day until AZ summer hit :mjcry:
- Ran a 7:42 mile the other day (haven’t ran in years)
- Feel like a God
- Went to a pool party recently and didnt feel like a chest nekkid Tee Grizzly
