That would mean I'd have to move my start time up to 11. That's 12 waking hours with no nourishment but water while working outside in this heat:damn:
fukk that. This might only be a week long thing for me :francis:
That's the thing. IF can be a useful tool but if it doesn't work for you then it's not worth trying to make work.

Dropped 41 pounds since I started this back in March. Great feeling. IF isn't for everyone but damn is it effective. Yesterday was dope. Got a mean leg workout in, with cardio and core to finish. Spent almost 3 hours in the gym then went back to the crib, showered, loaded up on protein, potassium, and carbs. Later that day, I ended up going on a 4 mile run with some people from work. Dusted them. Finished the day off with a well deserved, huge dinner. I'm unstoppable out here.

Brehs I have little to no motivation to lift weights anymore. Im lifting 4 days per week atm. I really need a break but I'm doing IF now and trying to cut without losing muscle. This is my 4th week doing IF and I've dropped some weight and I want to drop about 15 lbs more.

Maybe scale back to 3 days per week?

What should I do? The gym isn't the same anymore, I have no desire
Keep up the protein intake so you arent losing much muscle

Lost weight the first two weeks :blessed:

Gained weight these recent two weeks :mjcry:

I was eating too wild during my window. I gotta dial in and get my macros right now and take up more cardio. Overall I've lost just 1 lb in 4 weeks :mjcry:

I've been wanting to try this but being in the Army, I don't know. Worried about the lack of energy.

I don't know how the hell I've been able to do HIIT while fasted but it's been going well

Best part is when I fuel up my body before a game of basketball my energy is off the charts

Im at 216 now.. I thought I'd be a little less than that but I'll say it's my muscle keeping me on that weight.. my body is looking a lot better

I was just browsing this section and I'm going to try this immediately but I have a couple of questions.

I been on a weight loss journey for about 3 months. I started with eliminating sodas & alcohol. Limiting sweets, going to the gym almost daily doing intervals of cardio(walking, running) on treadmill and weightlifting. I see the difference in my body and how I am able to run more without getting tired. I also watch my daily calorie intake.

I work overnight 7on7off so I normally eat a meal about Q24, but I may have a snack or an apple. But sometimes I get hungry at night. So transitioning into this type of fasting for fat loss may be easier for me.

My question is weight scales. Is it better to go with a the traditional balance beam doctor's scale or the Digital?

I use a Fitbit digital scale. It's the Fitbit Aria. Just a heads up, you'll never get an accurate body fat percentage from a scale. Don't worry about whatever number it says. Use it strictly for weight.
