KD's lack of a back to the basket game

The Thunder need to find somebody else that can score in the paint.. Not everybody is Lebron.. I don't think KD should be asked to take that punishment.. Look at his body.

Dirk does just fine. It doesn't have to be a power game like LeBron because Durant can actually shoot.

I'm kidding, Bron can shoot but he can't turn and fade like a Durant or Dirk can. And KD has a huge height advantage over his defenders. Doesn't have to take too much punishment that way.

With that contract he signed he should be the one that should be asked to develop post moves..

He's strictly a jump shooter who blocks shots.

No post moves.. but he can post... posting is playing back to the basket.. even with one signature move.. u can be an awesome poster

Lebron is 6'8 260...He is an anomaly that cant be quantified..

K.D. is 6'9 215 lbs..He is not built to deal with the punishment in the paint..

Again everybody is not Lebron. Thats why he's the best.

It's pretty much the only thing seperating him from Bron right now and the reason I give OKC no chance if they face the Heat in the Finals again. You can't win championships in this league without a post pressence. Jump shots will only take you so far. That was the big difference in the 2012 Finals.

Apparently you don't watch the game. Until OKC get a coach that can run an offense that doesn't consist of dribbling and having your players rub off down screens to catch the ball 30 feet from the basket, the won't win anything. It was glaring how down the stretch Memphis ran good offense to get buckets (i.e. the Tony Allen dish to Z-bo for the layup in OT) while Russ pounded the ball into the ground waiting on KD to fight through the clogged up down screens to only catch the ball at the 3 point line with 12-15 seconds left on the clock. Brooks is holding this team back. The few times KD found himself on a free release and caught the ball at the elbow, it was money. Brooks isn't a championship coach. He's wasting Russ and KD window for a chip.

Exactly what I was saying last night in the game thread. The Thunder offense is basically Russ iso or Russ stand at the top of the key waiting on Durant to break free to throw it to him at the top of the key for an iso. When they're feeling real frisky they may even set a screen for Durant to break him free for a top of the key iso.

Durant has to work harder for the ball to. On a couple of occasions if Allen successfully denied him the ball Durant would kind of just stand there frustrated and stop moving instead of trying to free himself up at another angle. Hell with Kobe if you denied him the ball he would go and find someone to set him a few picks run to the other end of the court and demand it or run around and get a dribble hand off.

But KD should go there, it's just too big of an advantage imo. Add an up and under, a spin move and a small hook and dude might average 35 a game, easy. Just bulk up a little. If he doesn't, whatever

Its not closing at all i dont care about regular season stats thats liek when the admrial won the mvp over hakeem nobody tohught Robinson was the better player or when Malone won over Jordan, anyone who watches the game knows Lebron dominates and impacts a game more then almost anyone weve ever seen even if hes not scoring 30 which he can easily do

Once again this isnt a knock on KD Bron is just a different beast hes already probably top 5 of all time it may be generations before we see another player like him
