But he doesn't need to use the post skills every single offensive possession though, and it's not like he's going against PF's all the time (but knowing scotty tho :patrice:).

And he really needs to look at some Dirk film post 2008, he could be a problem just by having a decent fadaway post shot.
Exactly, no one is asking KD to be in the post every possession.

A lot of this falls on Brooks' shoulders though.

When games were tight, Phil knew how to put a Kobe or Jordan in position to score in the midrange. You knew it was coming.

We need to get KD to watch some episodes of the White Shadow and watch Coolidge go to work.

Them one pinstripe short wearing niqqas had that back to the basket game down to a science. all KD needs to be is Sidney Green effective at the least and he'd be IMPOSSIBLE to stop
Coolidge was a big Charles Oakley, Rick Mahorn ass nikka :what:

K.D. is a classic SF..

KD isn't 6'9". He's closer to 6'11" these days. Ridiculous I know. I'm pretty sure he's taller than Dwight now. And he probably weighs 235-240.

Dirk is not much different at all.

Kobe at 205 bullied people in the post. There's no reason Durant can't post in the midrange, turn and shoot. Malone and Dirk made a living doing that.
Midrange is about as close as he should get like I said earlier..

He needs to get his Sam Cassell on

As a certified hater even I gotta admit Bron learned well and quickly :ehh:

:dahell: It took him 8 years and he's still not good at it. That's why he has been a no-show in 3 out of 4 Finals and the only reason he showed up in 2012 is because the refs wouldn't let KD guard him. KD averaged 4 fouls per game in that series and Lj averaged only 2. They did this because he was so awful in the Finals before that and because they have put millions of marketing dollars into convincing everyone that he's “the best player in the world”.

That's still posting up. Like I was saying.

There's no reason KD can't adapt to playing with his back to the basket at some points during the game. With his shooting prowess it would be no problem.

Just going to take him some time.

Kobe never bulllied anyone in the post stop lyin :childplease:

Kobe killed you with his footwaork and fundamentals. Plus KD and Kobe play different positions.

Kobe was goin up against other guards not forwards like KD does
He was going up against guards that he usually was the same height or a little taller. KD has a huge height and wingspan advantage over most of his defenders.

Maybe your definition of bully is different from mine but for an SG, this is what dominating in the post looks like.

Durant can do everything in that video. Kobe was establishing position where Pau usually does as he was out for a good minute that season. Brooks needs to help put him in those types of situations.

Closer but not CLOSE

Think Jordan comapred to a Malone or Barkely thast what were talkign about here about one immortal top 5 of all time one future hof'er

Okay so now we are playing semantics. :heh: You said the gap isnt' closing but now he's closer? :comeon: You can have more than one immortal player in an era.

KD is not on Lebron's level.. Offensively as a scorer he's incredible but he's not touchin Bron overall..

I think a dominant post game would put him pretty close to Lebron. Obviously Bron will always be the better playmaker and better defender when engaged however KD is steadily making strides in those categories and doing all that he is in terms of scoring (both volume and efficiency) without a post game. If he could punish nikkas in the post shyt would get real interesting between those two.

It could certainly help him be even more efficient, but Ibaka's the one who should definitely have a post game. Instead, he makes Dwight look like Dream by comparison and keeps inching closer and closer to the three point line on offense.

Lol @ Westbrook getting Durant the ball consistently if he posted up more.

There's not that much of a height difference between Dirk and KD -

Remove the hair and Dirk is maybe an inch or 2 taller.

not to mention KD jumps higher and has those pterodactyl arms....he's doing himself and his team a disservice by not getting into the post. I'm not complaining though :sas1: Keep shooting them long jays nikka...keep shooting...
