As a certified hater even I gotta admit Bron learned well and quickly :ehh:

Yeah that's true, but he pretty much had already all the pieces for at least a decent post game(and being a physical anomaly), which I think helped him progress a bit faster.

Lebron is 6'8 260...He is an anomaly that cant be quantified..

K.D. is 6'9 215 lbs..He is not built to deal with the punishment in the paint..

Again everybody is not Lebron. Thats why he's the best.

Lmao, I think KD is actually like 240 or something (I think his height distorts things a bit), but still post play is more about positioning and footwork than all out strength, and considering his height, he's always going to be a threat considering he's damn near seven feet.

There is such a thing as a finesse post game. For Dirk for years teams would put lanky athletic players on him that could deny him the ball, get up under him and contest shots. Eventually to counter it Dirk learned the mid post game which forced teams to change how they defense him and put bigger players on him. At that point Dirk could just run them around the court to free himself. Just having that post game in the toolbox it'll give him more options. He doesn't need an extra physical post game, just a catch and turn type of game.

The gap is steadily closing and if KD gets to the point where he can work cats in the post what's gonna be the substantive diffrence between the two?
Lebron is still a much better passer and playmaker than Durant.

Dawg Dirk is 7'0 and is bulkier than K.D. :what:

Kevin Durant is 6'9 and like 210..

:what:
KD isn't 6'9". He's closer to 6'11" these days. Ridiculous I know. I'm pretty sure he's taller than Dwight now. And he probably weighs 235-240.

Dirk is not much different at all.

Kobe at 205 bullied people in the post. There's no reason Durant can't post in the midrange, turn and shoot. Malone and Dirk made a living doing that.

Defense...

KD has improved in that category. Still not as good as Lebron when he's engaged no doubt but he can certainly hold his own.

Its not closing at all i dont care about regualr season stats anyone who watches the game knows Lebron dominates and impacts a game more then almost anyone weve ever seen even if hes not scoring 30 which he can easily do

Once agian this isnt a kock on KD Bron is just a different beast hes alrady probably top 5 of all time it may be generations before we see another player like him

KD isn't exactly a playoff novice. He's stepped up his impact in other areas too. To say that the KD we see right now isn't closer to Lebron than the KD we saw a couple of years ago or beyond is just plain dishonest.

Yes footwork and positioning is important but you get fouled alot and you take punishment in the low blocks..K.D.'s body is not built for that. He is no Terry Cummings.. KDs body type is a one that I dont think can get bigger. All you have to do is look at his proportions. Look at his shoulders :russ: They are narrow as hell..

That's true. But KD is a better scorer and shooter than Lebron. As great as KD is now, can you imagine the impact he could have if you could just dump it down in the post to him?

Kobe never bulllied anyone in the post stop lyin :childplease:

Kobe killed you with his footwaork and fundamentals. Plus KD and Kobe play different positions.

Kobe was goin up against other guards not forwards like KD does

KD is not on Lebron's level.. Offensively as a scorer he's incredible but he's not touchin Bron overall..

We need to get KD to watch some episodes of the White Shadow and watch Coolidge go to work.

Them one pinstripe short wearing niqqas had that back to the basket game down to a science. all KD needs to be is Sidney Green effective at the least and he'd be IMPOSSIBLE to stop

Kobe was bullying people in the post that entire Jazz series in 08 when the Lakers ran up to the finals. He consistently was able to back down people who weighed more than him in the post enough to where his skillset could get him whatever shot he wanted. You're beginning to sound like you have no idea what you're talking about.

But he doesn't need to use the post skills every single offensive possession though, and it's not like he's going against PF's all the time (but knowing scotty tho :patrice:), and it's not like we're saying he needs to bulldoze over people, Dirk didn't, Hakeem didn't have to.

And he really needs to look at some Dirk film post 2008, he could be a problem just by having a decent fadaway post shot.
