Cause you lowered the bar to “at least two classic” and there are rappers out there like Nas and Jay with at least 5. If you even up it to 3 the field widens to guys like Common, and Tupac. You can put him in a top 10 but number #1 is tough. Also like others have said this era of rap is pretty weak.

What I know is the point, is that one guy wanted to get in the ring on some sake of the sport shìt to show he's the best at that craft.

Before this beef I had him just outside of the top 10 both in my personal and ‘official’ lists. Now? He’s right around 6/7 on my personal list and probably the ‘5th man’ in hip hop history. Bc Big-Pac-jay-Nas is kinda out of reach. But he may be battling withScarface and that’s HAAAR for me to type. So for now I have him 6

Yea, before this battle I actually had Cole above him on a lyrical tip. I thought Cole was gonna win the head up between them. Now I clearly see Dot spared that nikka lol.

I dunno if Cole can ever redeem himself. Right now I think he can NEVER be considered a GOAT. Kendrick was ready to put everything on the line and showed out on the biggest stage against one of the biggest pop HipHop artist ever.
