The key to not getting knocked out of ketosis is having a moderate intake of protein. Thats really what distinguishes it from the Atkins diet. After a certain threshold the liver is able to convert protein into sugar and that blunts your effort to keep insulin levels low even if youre properly cutting back on carb intake.
