I still was surprised at the bad chemistry between the Rock and CM Punk's match. I had assumed their match would be better than Rock/Cena, yet it turned out to be almost Raven vs Regal at Invasion bad.
I agree on their chemistry as far as the matches. The feud was good. The first match wasn't too bad. Just a little slow but had a lot of drama and big fight feel. They should have balanced the offense. But it was Rock last title win.

The 2nd match was pretty flat but had an elevated level of drama and story to it. Rock controlled this match more IIRC. But not alot there

Rock/Cena 1 (the 2nd one wasnt good) is a great match and pretty underrated. Will aways be current Rock best match. They clicked more because they are more closely related in the ring than Rock/Punk. Rock probably would have killed all of those matches if this was 2001-2003 era Rock. His ring work was great.

Both Rock/Cena matches were terrible finisher spam and kickouts to instill a false sense of drama.

Same shyt u saw in the Taker/Michaels, Cena/Owens, and Punk/Cena matches that u all praised like a motherfukk3r. Nitpick when something is good for your agendas. Have no idea what good wrestling is.

There are numerous stories of Punk being an a$$hole to his fans but for some odd reason his fans justify being disrespected. :francis:

Making stupid comments like "he doesn't owe his fans shyt". :dwillhuh: You mean those same fans who made his "Best In the World" shirt one of the top 10 highest selling wrestling shirts of all time? :martin:
I'm a CM Punk Stan but man you ain't lying...
Alot of my fellow Punk stans are woat...

Mother fukk you. I shyt all over the Cena/KO matches, and have done so since day one. Those matches were fukking terrible indie garbage, as were all of the US Open matches that people loved so much because....John Cena was beating their favorite indie guys every week but doing cool movez and having finisher kick outs for no reason :mindblown:

10 years of bytching about Cena beating people and suddenly the internet turned the corner on him...beating dudes they love every week. Because MOVEZ.

Punk talks slick about everyone. I still never forgot about him talking shyt about The Miz on his DVD when The Miz was giving him nothing but compliments on the same DVD. He's just a constantly bitter misanthrope.
I gotta revisit this DVD but what did he say about Miz?...

Rock announced in July he was number one contender for the title at a pay-per-view 6 months away. Whoever would have been champ at that time would be laying down for Rock; makes zero sense to announce yourself number one contender for the title only to job to the current title.

He basically just hated on the company choosing Miz to get the belt and headline WM 27. He thought his str8 Edge society stuff was hotter than Miz but Miz was having great promos almost weekly and was definitely standing out at the time. Punk was starting to get involved with the Nexus 2.0 stuff and that fell off without Wade.

The guy who won the main event of WM 28 wasn't gonna return to lose to a guy who needed Shield to beat Ryback in that TLC Match. Basically Ryback kicked Punks ass and had it won in like Goldberg fashion.

If your hero doesn't announce he's facing the champ at Royal Rumble, Ryback would have beaten Punk for the title.

Rock doesn't own the WWE so that weak line of thinking doesn't work. They derailed Ryback to push a non drawing CM Punk. Punk was on that podcast saying he didn't even want to be heel and Vince was gonna go with Bryan as heel against Rock at Rumble. Punk played politics and thought he could talk them into giving him a W. So your own boy clowned your perspective and logic on the entire matter.
