just take your time and stick with something consistent

i lost 30lbs within the first 2 months and barely looked different, but the minute i adjusted to what im showing yall i noticeably looked "thinner".

1lb of pure fat loss is much more noticeable than 3lbs of "you arent sure"

This is the first "diet" I've been able to easily follow and see results. My co-worker is on some no corn diet and she's got this list of foods she's not supposed to have tacked up to the wall. My other homegirl talm bout eating salads for the rest of her life and both of them bytches are hungry LMAO!!

I haven't been hungry once following this plan and I've been on diets where my stomach is hollowed out from not having enough food. Like waking up in the middle of the night and can't sleep hungry. I can't even tell you how much I appreciate your advice and guidance.

are you keeping a personal log?

it seems trivial in hindsight..but i tracked my weekly weight/waist measurement/midaxillary caliper measurement for almost 4 months

its like a small memento now, i have it on my desk and show some people

the funny thing is i was obsessed with bodyfat calipers(youll understand why i say to ignore BF%) and according to my calculations back then i was 15% BF at like 180lbs :heh: clearly that was false. I will say it did help. Like a reminder even when you may not feel you look different in the mirror, that lil notepad is still ur friend :cheff:

I have a calendar at home where I write what days I went to the gym and the number of calories and protein I had for each day. I also have a food diary that I've been keeping. I've also been weighing myself every morning and I write that number as well.

Brehs,

Crazy end of the year and start to this year. I'm all screwed up diet and to some degree exercise wise. Trying to get back on point now.

Good news is that my weight is pretty stable event with all the BS going on. Bad news I lost a good bit of the muscle gain I had. Can't maintain macros on one meal a day.

Just easing back into things now. All things being equal I didn't fall back to far. My only focus is lifting going forward.

i used LoseIt app during the bulk of my cut, but myfitnesspal has much better options

i found it late

intramural basketball season starts soon.. im at 230 right now but still more athletic than most nikkas.. if i cut down to 215 ill be a gawd

im all in.. gonna be some chicken breasts and fruit soon as i wake up

is it ok to work out your abs while on the 5x5 program? im bulking btw, or would it be recommended only while cutting?

its more than fine, but for best results stick to just one ab exercise and make it difficult.(IE ab pike, reverse crunch, bird dogs)

have you never attempted counting? until you get your own reasonable idea on what is what this will always be difficult

Im done being :flabbynsick: Im starting this shyt tomorrow.

Start weight:257

Current weight 234, and loss 3 inches off my waist. All weightloss achieved thru diet only. Phase 2 (Gym work) starts today. Next goal is 199 lbs by June 1st. :smugbiden:

how do you know when to cut or bulk

i'm 182 lbs 6'1 and pretty happy with how i look, im basically skinny everywhere except the stomach/hip area and im trying to get rid of that extra fat. so just try to keep cutting?

im hitting around 150-180 g of protein a day is that enough?
