New York artists and rappers are nothing but haters when it comes to the south.

I've never met a dude from NY who constantly talked about another region. We got our own problems up here . In fact, most people I know have family from the country.
Dont get me wrong I'm not saying constantly but we would definitely roast them every now and then

I mean, I don't recall meeting any who actively shyt on other regions all day like people do on the internet, but this picture sums up the attitude of a lot of New Yorkers:

Yeah we do shyt on upstate lol

But guess what

A lot of transplants in NY that come here for careers be hating on NY

Like take yo ass back home than shyt lol

Yeah, the worst, to me, are the ones who move here and after a year in Manhattan start shytting on the boroughs.

Whenever I hear shyt like that I'm like :why: "aren't you from Iowa?"

My point exactly. We don't care about other regions, we mainly do us. I'm pretty sure other regions don't care about us like that either, these are the same posters in every thread talking that regional stuff but you just see NY this NY that way too much, it's weird.

I bet they also refuse to live anywhere above 96th st. Maybe even 14th, depending on what line of work you're in.

Oh you already know lol

Anything above 96th is "sketchy"

A lot of transplants moving to the west side of Harlem though

Just not the ones I work with though

One does live in Bushwick though now that I think about it :patrice:

I fukk with southern rappers but I'm biased towards NY artists I admit, so what? There are more NY mc's who emcee strictly for the love of the artform and that's more my speed. To y'all that's "corny," so whatever. It's not about hate. Everybody hates NY though, it is what it is.

Because NY hip hop fans have an elitest attitude. They act like you have to follow some kind of guideline to be a real hip hop fan. Real hip hop is what ever you think it is and music is subjective.
