Peace Be Unto you all!
The name given to me by my mother is Rasheed
"The guide to the right path"
And though I am not currently a practicing Muslim, Islam is always in my heart.
I would like to observe Ramadan to bring myself closer to the creator and to tighten up on my organization as well as fitness and to overall improve focus and application of acquired knowledge. STARTS Tomorrow? Well I guess I'm all in brothers and sisters...one question am I allowed to drink water during the day?

nothing has power besides Allah
reminds me of a story
In the time of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) a solar eclipse occurred. People superstitiously attributed its occurrence to the death of Ibrahim, son of the Prophet (peace be upon him). They said that Ibrahim’s death, which coincidentally happened in the same day of the solar eclipse, blocked out the sun.
What did the prophet (peace be upon him) say to them? The Prophet’s (peace be upon him) response was: “The sun and the moon are two signs amongst the signs of Allah. They do not eclipse because of someone's death or life. So when you see them, invoke Allah and pray
this is what monotheism is all about brehs

he couldve been the richest man if he wanted but he died with no wealth, everything he had he gave to charityThe crazy thing is Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) could have agreed with the people and it would've actually helped him gain more followers. If he said that it was a miracle of Allah that the eclipse coincided the same day as prophet Ibrahim death .... But he didn't.
He was always truthful![]()

During his return from the visit, the Messenger (saw) cried. The companions said, “What makes you cry, Oh Messenger of Allah?” He said, “I miss my brothers.” They said : “Are we not your brothers, Oh Messenger of Allah?” He said, “No, you are my Companions. My brothers are those who will come after me and they believe in me without seeing me.”
