That's pretty much the name of the game. Stop trying to 'figure' females out. They operate on emotion, so you won't find any logical reason as to why they do what they do. Their answer will be pretty much, "I felt like it."

And really, why spend all this time 'figuring out' what they want. Are they spending time figuring out what you want? In fact, you'll see more discussions on what a woman WON'T do for a man than what she will do. When it comes down to it, handle your responsibilities, enjoy your life and invite a woman out if you feel like it. If she doesn't want to go, keep enjoying your life and kick it to another woman who might be more receptive. That simple. All these lame strategies and techniques and stressing and striving over women... what for?

It was a quote from one of my favorite motivationl speakers he said " At the end of your feelings is nothing but at the end of every principal is a promise"- eric thomas. I feel like this fit what you saying to a degree .

One of the principles I live by

See A Man Diligent In His Work, He Shall Stand Before Kings, He Shall Not Stand Before Mean Men

Thanks for the link. I'm glad to see this thread revived and we're all posting different things that can help each other.

If you don't mind me asking, what language did you end up learning?

but yeah, principle is absolutely necessary and it applies to ALL aspects of life. A lot of fellas aren't being taught about principle at all, especially in the black community due to a lot of men not having their fathers around. Thus, they act on an emotional basis, and we see all the destruction we see now.

Here's something to ponder. You need to take the time and do what will help you over the LONG-TERM.

In other words, don't spend all your money on nonsense like shoes and clothes. That's not to say to dress bummy or to not enjoy yourself, but think about this. What happened to all of those 'hot' clothes that you spent a fortune on? They are essentially junk now because they are out of fashion. Dudes spent thousands on Ed Hardy or Throwback Jerseys and now they can't give that stuff away. If they would have invested those thousands, it would probably be worth tens of thousands today.

This is to say, that while you should be presentable, you have to set limits for your pleasure indulgences, which is also part and parcel of 'principle'. When's the last time you seen a 35 year old or 40 year old dude that was just stunting in the latest 'hot fashion', and you wanted to be like that? You probably thought he needs to settle his old butt down.

You will definitely appreciate the flexibility that having a large bin of savings and responsible financial habits will give you in the future. For example, do you hate your job? If so, would you rather be in a position where you could take months off with no real worries because you have massive savings, or do you want to be stuck where you are at because all of your net worth is invested in items which have no real value?

I'm going to start posting about aspects other than women in this thread. We can only talk about women for so long before we start saying the same things over and over. What we really need to be talking about is how to conduct yourself as a man and how to sharpen yourself up to create something sustainable for the long-term.

Exactly, there's dudes who buy $500 phones every year just for a slight speed boost and that has a couple of new features they will end up not even using.

Frugality is an especially important point to learn and it is never taught in school because the school system wants to create employees and consumers. Consider the fact that If there are athletes that earned tens of millions, if not hundreds of millions of dollars and went broke, what can happen to you and I?

When you're young, a lot of you guys want to get to 'flashing', but think about what a flash is. It's an intense burst of brightness that soon thereafter dissipates into nothingness. Doesn't that sound like a lot of people you might know? They were the man in high school or even in college, and now they aren't doing anything with their lives. They are burnt out. There are a lot of social factors telling you young cats to flash, to do this, to do that, and all of it is geared towards parting you with your money. You have to learn to ignore it and stay true to principle.

Go to the mall for example... you will see some kiosks, a lot of times with a middle-eastern guy running it. They have all of this 'bling bling' that they are willing to sell to you for some exorbitant price. More times than not, they are buying that blinged out chain for 30 bucks but selling it to you for 700. Take a quick glance look on their neck and their wrist. Do you see any of that stuff in the counter on their body? What does that tell you?

Think about all the 'hot clothes' at one period that you can't wear anymore because it's out of fashion. There are so many avenues for you to be parted of your cash, and while it may seem like a fun expenditure at the time, I am guaranteeing you that you will want to have had that cash in hand later on in life.

That's not to say dress bummy and be a miser. It IS to say to look for bargains, NEVER follow the hot trend because you will get charged excessively.

You want to build that large rainy day fund because bad times will come and you will be in a job you hate... If you don't have that money there, you will be stuck. Past the rainy day fund, you want to learn how to invest your money, whether it is in your own business or your stocks and bonds. We're not living in a day and age where high paying jobs are easy to come by and the trend for corporations is to reduce the amount of compensation they are giving out, so when it's said and done, if you don't know how to get it yourself, you're going to be making crumbs.
