Had to cancel a date yesterday.

Set the date for 6.30 Saturday. But my gut told me let me message this chick before I set off.

At 6 I text her, I'll see you there. She messages me at 6.10 saying she just got in from being out all afternoon running errands and her phone died.

She says that we could go to the bar I choose next week and asks if we can just meet in her hood a bit later. I picked out a specific bar for a reason and I dont want to go sit in a bright as fukk sports bar.

I just told her sounds like shes rushed off her feet and we should do it another day. I could already see going to meet her would probably be a frustrating half assed evening. I've had good dates with this woman before so no need for the bushes just yet.

She is very apologetic but my thought process was. I had a really great date on friday and I have another date with a new chick this sunday. I'm not desperate enough where I have to go see her if I feel it's just not going to be fun.

Plus you would have been in her hood so you could have easily got her in the mood and went back to her place depending on y’all relationship and your goal.

At the same time if you wasn’t in the mood it’s better you don’t go, I learned that lesson the hard way. Plus you canceling she’ll for sure make sure her shyt is together if you ask her out again.

I've been trying to follow my gut feelings a lot more with women these days. I think it would have been a low energy date. She actually messaged me this afternoon apologising again and saying she's going to make it up to me.

Tbh I think having an early night last night was probably the better move.
