I wouldn't ignore a call, just keep the convo short by saying you gotta do something. If yall actually link up then the only time convo is a problem is if she sucks at keeping up or its taking away energy from productive activities.

It's more this. If she calls thats two hours gone right there without me even realizing. It just gives me an easy out to continue procrastinating and demonstrates I ain't doing shyt with my time.

what time of job do you have? If there is something you can say you are studying for then use that to minimize the time. I'd carve out X amount of hours a week you dont mind to communicate. Flat out ignoring isn't the best thing to do if you want someone on your roster, but making them aware 'hey working on this goal' should make them mindful and if they aren't mindful then that is a red flag you ask yourself if you want to deal with.
