And what do i get by liking pictures? It’s called engagement. Those same pictures I like got me so many opportunities just by engaging with people. It’s strictly business to me. shyt has helped me grow my social media and start my fashion shyt on the side. And it just feels like my girl is jealous of that and trying to control me and hide it behind some “likes”.

If this is true, why didn't you mention this in your initial post? Did you argue this point to your girl?

basically what I'm saying is you have nothing to gain from a woman you are dating following you on social media. If you are the type of person who is going to have women commenting on your shyt, liking your shyt, and you will be doing the same to them...it will do nothing but make these women insecure. If youre trying to be a player then thats great. But if you have an actual girlfriend it is terrible. I have literally heard women say, "If he is liking instagram models' pics, it makes me wonder why he is with me, cause i look nothing like that." Simply put, they are insecure, immature idiots. It isnt . Furthermore, they will want to mark their territory, by commenting on your posts and forcing you to do things such as post pictures of them, tag you in pictures they post of you etc etc. Women are emotionally weak and immature. It simply isnt worth the hassle, knowing how insecure they are.

There is also a gang of dudes that get caught up on these social media sites with girls they used to (shyt or currently) mess with messaging their girlfriend telling them stuff to cause problems. I'm guessing your IG profile is public, if you can help it privatize it. If you cant because you need it to get money/opportunities...leave it public but set the tone from early if a girl youre seeing ever chooses to follow your profile in the future. Tell her how you move on IG, why you move that way, and assertively tell her that if she is going to find it problematic that she can go kick rocks.

With this current girl, you might have to tell her to stop following you and explain why its a good idea to not follow eachother on instagram. I doubt she'll be cool wit hthat...so again you either tell her assertively to stop stalking your shyt and that its meaningless. And if she aint with it, you tell her to bounce.
