Is the sports bar even your vibe? You might be a lounge type person, or a upscale place, maybe a jazz or artsy vibe, maybe you like dancing on the dance floor.
Going out by yourself you want to be at a venue that makes you feel the most comfortable as possible.
Dancing is definitely not my gig. Now that you mentioned it, a lounge seem a little more slower paced and less crowded than a sports bar would be. At least in my mind. I have no experience with either, though.
Cool and chilled out is what I'm looking for. Nothing wild. Or loud.
Go to whatever establishment a few hours before it gets busy. Walk around the place to get a feel. Sit at the bar or table. Ask the bartender what the best drinks and food are. Just vibe enjoy yourself. People like being around someone comfortable and having a good time.

Its petty as hell especially since she know i was correct, and it was common sense.Like why would you go out your way to do the wrong thing. But it was a lack of driving skill too.
That's why i never ride with her if something is more than a mile away. I be legit nervous its like riding with Mr. Magoo.
