Had to share the update to this. I feel sad for this cat. But he really needs to take some time out and decide what is best for him.

So him and my friend were sort of on and off before she decided it really wasn't working and they stopped seeing each other. A few messages back and forth over the last few weeks then he sent her a soppy text message last week and they met up for lunch yesterday so they could talk about things.

Lunch goes OK and he asks her to spend the day at his place as she's remote, so she takes her work laptop with her and works at his place for the afternoon. Later he orders dinner and despite talking about wanting to be friends they make-out, but still don't fukk.

End of the night comes and his talking about his exes emotionally cheating on him in the past and him taking them back.

She's then she said it was getting late and she had to go. This guy actually breaks down crying talking about he'll miss her now they're not together. She told me she didn't know what to do as she wasn't expecting that at all. Tells him they can talk about it on Sunday when they meet for a walk.

Bad news for buddy that she didn't tell him, she's been dating again and told me she hooked up with a guy last week and is meeting another guy today for a date.

She says after yesterday though his going to probably permanently be a friend as she feels his emotionally not there. I think this guy needs to try and meet chicks who are in the same frame of mind as him for things like waiting until a relationship or marriage for sex.

That's much later down the line for this dude. He's got way bigger problems within himself he needs to be tackling first before he even thinks about dealing with women again.

I can respect that but at the same time, at this stage in my life im ready to settle down. Im not afraid to say that. We in to some of the same shows and music (Seinfeld, the office, neo soul video games etc) but at this point we're just kicking it with no expectations. Grabbing dinner here and there. She offered to braid my hair the other day.
