Used this approach today. I simply asked this cute sista if she understood the material, as I was inquiring about a study partner for the midterm. Punched in my # on her phone (sent myself a text with her name), chopped it up about our home country, and outlined our schedules/study plan.

Did the exact same thing in the exact same class with a different girl. Texted back and forth and it eventually fell through.
