Alpha Black women - have choice. Choice to smash, choice to marry - in whatever type of men they desire. Often have multiples. Different men for different purposes. Beta Black Women - they have the education, the jobs, the careers, the money, but not necessarily the sex appeal. (which is a combination of face, body, and "personality"). They can provide for themselves, and they can get smashed - but they're not facially attractive enough to make the guys they WANT to act right. She can buy the BBL's, the wigs, the Breasts....but they don't have the face card. (and this is in their way of thinking as far as I can tell, not a male one)
So there's a situation where the Lori Harvey's of the world are competing with the Stacey Abraham's of the world for Jeremy Meek's of the world
With Alpha Women - the looks eventually fade. An external clock to get what she wants.
With Beta Black Women - the desire and hope eventually fades. (that lil discussion over Condoleeza Rice, but could apply to any powerful Black women). An external AND internal clock to get what she wants...

If youre somebody with a low sense of self worth maybe, if youre secure in yourself you gonna want somebody who is able to show they desire you. The absence of that just builds up resentment and the relationship eventually fails because of it
