I've seen guys (and been one of those guys myself) say "How could she do this to me after all I've done for her? " and the truth is that there's nothing you can do besides take the L. Most girls are not gonna repay you because they don't feel obligated to.

I think its just that when you love or really like somebody you want to do right by them and treat them good...spoil them even sometimes. As @Emperor_ReinScarf and others will say a man's most valuable asset is time and we spend most of ours sleeping or making money. Our spending time or effort or money on these girls is usually our natural way of showing we care so when a girl says, "I wanna break up with you because youre A, B, and C its only natural for a brother to say, how can you think I'm A,B & C when I did X,Y,&Z?? ."

The truth is girls are only saying youre ABC because they need an excuse to break up with you. Thats why girls stay twisting words around, ignoring facts in arguments and are generally passive aggressive. I'm speaking from experience about a story i've told on here before. You live and learn though.
