I will say that I do have ulterior motives though. & this is not something I'm proud to admit. There are ppl out there who are very guarded, so that "bad behavior" you see initially might just be insulation to protect them from the a$$holes of the world but once you get past the tough exterior they are actually pretty alright ppl. Of course you have to be very careful with this. If you are tolerating bad behavior but don't have an elaborate and realistic end-game (a la The Prince by Machiavelli or House of Cards) then it's better to just dead it. It's not worth it.

My conclusion from my small experiences dealing with ppl is that there are no hard and fast rules. What helps in the long run is being positive (if you start off by assuming everybody is an a$$hole well ... good luck), being very observant (actions speak louder than words, and nonverbal cues / body language are underrated) and of course having your priorities in order (having an end-game).

The first 4 seasons are really good I never watch episodes from their sophomore year in college on...just high school years and first year in college
