So I reactivated my Coffee Meets Bagel account. I matched with a chick who seems quality. But I'm quickly reminded why I fukking hate dating apps.
There's so much pressure on men to be funny, charming, sexy, etc in the beginning. This means that you have to prove your worth via text. shyt is dumb and it's why I try to move to a face to face interaction ASAP.

I'm quite honestly a literary genius who dabbled in actually finishing a novel at one point. The prose I use on the coli is obviously far removed from that but I get to try my hand on these dating sites. I usually get a lot of replies back since I actually read the profiles and can bullshyt out something that is applicable personally to them. but a lot of times the shyt will be one word replies, or just too difficult to guide the convo into a direction you want it to. I met my most recent ex who i was with off and on for a year off of OKC and she actually messaged me first which is probably the rarest thing in the world lol. I smashed like 5 or so off of the site so I can't say its a bad investment if youre willing to play the numbers game. But I've exhausted all the bytches I would want to see off of there in my area so I disabled mine
