I think Tinder has already fallen behind because of their greedy practices. If I hadn’t already met my shorty, I was already planning on getting off of that last year. All the stuff they do with your algorithm is shady as fukk. I was heated when I found out about it. Their best feature is being able to swipe in different cities around the world. I’m sure someone else will incorporate that feature soon.

Word. I know they’ve recently gotten rid of their Facebook requirement. I don’t know if Bumble has though, which I prefer as the superior app. I had some blank fb profile just so I could use those damn apps.
To the brehs in here still using tinder, I would delete your current profile and wait a few days then make a new one that’s linked to just your phone number. If you’re not seeing many results then they probably messed with your algorithm. They want you to buy all those boosts and other dumb shyt to see the women you’re supposed to.

Yeah I unhooked my facebook from both Bumble and Tinder and then deleted my accounts.
Then to start fresh I used a burner number to signup so they have no history of me.
Was getting much better matches.

This man knows. I’ve got two phones in the UK, my normal T-Mobile for everyone back home and my business phone for everything UK related. I would make a profile, get dates/numbers for a couple weeks or so, then delete it after I had a good amount of potentials. After that, I’d make another profile and link it to the other number so they wouldn’t keep my information on file. Rise, and repeat. Crazy that you gotta do all that to beat their stupid ass systems.
Yeah dating sites are like that as well okcupid and pof as well, when you’re new people see your profiles first. As time goes on you get pushed to the back unless you have a premium profile.

The nefarious thing with Tinder is they’ll shyt on you even if you’re premium. If you pay the max amount and get Tinder Gold, you’ll still eventually see your matches dry up because of their scheme. They want you to use that “boost” which ends up just showing you potential matches that they were hiding to begin with. Eventually their time will be over and another app will become synonymous with global smartphone dating.
