How long you staying out there for? Seems like you did the reverse of what I did. I stayed in Cartagena for 5 days and flew to Medellin and stayed there 4 days and flew back to cartegana for two more nights.
You right tho bruh, Medellin and the way the city is situated on the Andes mountains makes for some of the most incredible views you will EVER see in any city in the world. It just absolutely breathtaking, especially at night and if you manage to get a dope rooftop view.
I did the same except me and my girl went up to Parque Arvi, the last stop on the cable cars and those viewsdon’t lie tho bruh you was shook on your way back down seeing the whole city beneath you
We was gonna do the Pablo tour but instead just got off at one of the stops on the Cable car I think it’s called Santo Domingo and we just walked around the hood, had lunch, chopped it up with some locals. Felt good being around black people cause in Medellin I found it was very limited in the city Center, most live in the favellas it seems

One thing I find interesting about dudes out here is that they so cool they WANT you to smash broads, not like other places where they get on some jealous bullshyt if you're not from there.
My hotel is in el poblado of course and I've walked around the place and the locals have shown mad love. I went for a long walk the other night that went into an area that was starting to look a lil bit sketchy. Something told me to turn back around lol, but dudes was dapping me for no reason. Even when I passed a group of dudes on a corner, I just briefly nodded my head in acknowledgement and kept it moving. You'd be surprised how a little act like that can prevent bullshyt when you're in hood areas. I do the same when I'm in a rough area of my own city that I'm not familiar with. I don't do dumb shyt and I'm always respectful, but I look like a dude who knows how to handle himself, so I'm not some corny looking cac gringo.
Honestly I wasnt shook of the cable car, it was a dope experience. The views of the favelas and Andes mountains.

Pretty much non existent but you’ll manage with Google translate and pointing lol. Luckily my girl spoke some Spanish so we managed okay but yoh wouldn’t be assed out completely if you know nothing. You just won’t be able to smash locals or it will be harder since you can’t flirt or drop lines ... can make it awkward unless the girl just wants to fukk but still possible. If you don’t mind paying ...
My regret is not being able to speak the language, cos it's a struggle at times and really does limit your social interactions. It has been awkward as fukk sometimes cos the wifi and phone signal out here is a bit hit and miss and Google translate only works if you have a connection. Even at the hotel where I'm at their english is as good as my spanish.
