The fck is up with this dysfunctional outlook on relationships and dealing with the opposite sex? The fact that you guys only operate in these binary extreme examples and viewpoints (and notice how around here its always the woman thats the ravenous, heartless aggressor while the man is always a poor embattled, gentle soul ) tells me one of two things:

A) you guys arent interacting with women very often beyond a superficial level, and thus you get your relationship cues from the extremism that you see on tv and the internet, and personal bitterness.

B) somehow you are attracting lunatic, sociopathic, women --- or you're secretly attracted to such personality types.

Believe it or not, there is a middle ground between having your woman chained to the radiator in the basement, and being under the thumb of some psycho, uncaring bytch.

As a man leading, we will all have our different visions of leading, but what I WILL stand on is that you should be a benevolent leader. As a benevolent leader, your choices are based upon the ultimate success of your union with your woman, and ultimately, your decision-making process involves a mutually beneficial relationship, even though every decision you make may not be mutually beneficial in isolation. Trust me, some of the decisions may not benefit her but benefit you, but then again you will also be making decisions that don't benefit you, but her. As a leader, you will continue to study, effect positive change and hold ultimate accountability towards your dealings with women.

Number 1 rule: Know yourself and establish your vision, principles and leadership style
- You simply must know who you are and how you get down and express that in order for you to find a woman who is of the same mind as you. As the Bible says, you have to be equally yoked... in order for that to happen, you need to establish where you are going and what you are about, and then after that, get up on the women that are down to go where you're going.

Number 2 Rule: Always be in control
This doesn't mean you control each and every single thing and you are micromanaging life. It means you are ultimately responsible and take the imperative to push the relationship to where it needs to go. It also means you have the ultimate authority and you will shortstop things when necessary.

Number 3: It's about choice, not force
Babygirl WILLINGLY chose to get up under you and move with you, so she must know and accept that you are the boss with the sauce. That also means that you give her a wide open door to step on out if she isn't digging the way you get down. I agree with this but it isn't for the reasons they say most of the time. Some chicks just don't want to do shyt (esp when not benefiting them) and they hit yall up with that thats a man's job.
