You guys are completely right about women not knowing what they want. Sometimes I envy people who do find a real connection with someone. I have a roster with some of the finest girls, I make sure I’m never attached to them so I do believe in a sense that it’s karma when I end up being played.

I started dm’ing this girl on ig, started out innocent, but then we ended up talking everyday, day and night, sending each other videos. We then decided to meet up. I’m a fly brother so I knew that was going to go smooth and it did .We immediately bonded and spent the entire day together. Made out, did romantic shyt. Now my mistake was letting my guard down. She told her friends how amazing our date was and how we easily got along. For a sec I allowed myself to think you know what maybe I should be focused on her, stop texting other girls. Lol.. Not even a day later she starts acting weird when we talk, being distant, the second day after she hits me up with the “I just got out a relationship and I’m not ready for another one right now. Our date reminded me of that. i just wanted to be honest”.

We had so many plans together already so i wont lie, it caught me by surprise and I caught feelings. I kept my cool though. We texted back and forth and at the end she said she liked me but didn’t want to bring her old relationship baggage. And then lastly she said she just doesn’t want us to move too fast and she’s worried about that. We decided to chill for now and resume that talk another day. We havent talked since.

I could sit here and think something is wrong with me “ aww maybe it’s because i have so many girls on social media” , “she thinks i’mma play her” or find reasons why she feels this way “maybe she was in an abusive relationship” but I realized at the end of the day, there’s no point. I’ve decided not to care and put myself first.

Hmm it's hard as a ton of chicks, have low key depression and won't admit it to themselves. Heck a lot of guys have it as well. Admittance is the first road to understanding and recovery. One chick I used to see regularly is going through the same thing. But she's been doing therapy to talk through her issues.

This woman is at least able to be open with you regarding her behavior.

With the woman I know, we talk sporadically but she feels she needs to sort herself out properly. I love this woman. Probably the only one I do out of all the women I see/seen. So if she initiates contact we'll talk.

If you feel for her, then be there for some support if she reaches out.

I'm in a similar situation now. Dont throw her completely to the bushes. Just say a prayer for her and pray for blessings to come her way, let her come back to you when she's ready and focus on some other chicks in the meantime. It's okay to be a good friend sometimes to a woman, this is one of those scenarios.

Update on this. So I was talking to my girl's(ex-girl?) best friend a little bit. I think y'all might be right about this situation. This ain't a HOH situation. This girl really going through some shyt. Caught Shorty looking at my IG stories the other day after I basically bushed her and felt bad. Did she not really wanna break up and Was she coming to me for help to deal with her depression?
