which brands/articles of clothing would you recommend a breh in his early 20s to capture this style?
I usually use J. Crew for sweaters, three button up short sleeves, and plain colored long sleeves.
I'm 38 and my style has never changed tshirts (non labels) and joggers
Hoodies,turtlenecks and joggers/track pants in fall/winter
I work from home haven't worn my work clothes since like march 2020 but i'll take em out once in a while when I go to church

It would be easy to say Banana Republic, J. Crew, ASOS, or something, but when you get to my age - you don't care about the labels, you care about the look.
Spending more money, may or may not, make those things look better.
But everyone makes White Polos and White button ups. Everyone makes grey slacks. The hardest thing to grab would be the Coat, and you can find them at any department store, outlet store, or for cheap on Ali Express, Ali Baba, etc.
Indeed, you want to develop your eye for these things, rather than look for exact dupes of what you see people wearing.
The other thing, I find that 999 dudes out of 1,000 don't have a unified look. The 1 out of 1,000 that does is either in a suit, or literally in uniform.
I'm not even gonna speak on how women dress, but the more attention you pay to your own look, the more attention you will pay to theirs.

But we as men still want to push it, as we don't want to maybe lose out. So try to keep the convo alive.
If you as a man notice a woman's replies to you are becoming less frequent and more dry.
Just leave it as she's telling you what she's thinking without actually saying it. Which is she's not that interested.
These days I'll ask a chick straight up and push them a tad. Then you'll get the "it's me, not you" excuse.
Where a chick will tell you they have loads of stuff going on in their life and don't have time for you etc, but you're a great guy etc and she's really sure you'll find the right person aka not me.
Meanwhile, give it two or three weeks and you still see them active on the apps.
I notice that beaviour now and I'm good on messaging them and you'll notice when you dont message them, they wont message you so they cant have been that intrested.
I'll say this to any breh whos's unsure. Any woman who truly wants to be around you will make a play for you.

on fashion: way less on flashier designer than I was 10 years ago, more understated stuff, but still expensive jeans, expensive mostly plain black/white T Shirts, get a few cheaper T Shirts to wear around, wear harder, for cheaper CK, Cuts, Bylt, Buck Mason.

In the last two weeks have added a slim thick Aussie and this Mennonite chick to my summer roster.
I'm not into that weird over-worship of PAWGS but these are fun women.
