Has a dog ever ruined your relationship?

im talking to this one Filipina and she
got one of those lap dog , and I never
dated a girl with a dog before . Can they
get very annoying ? yap yap yap?
Nah, I like em but I wouldn't live with one. My girl's family has one and she said when we move in together we're gonna get one; her family even thinks it's gonna happen.

Me, 30 something years old....who never owned any animals that live in house.... is gonna have a stinky, dirty Paw'd, you have to wake up early in the morning in the middle of winter to take me for a pee pee caca ass dog lol

I love my girl but I shut that down quickly.
:mjlol:

She's not the type to just bring one home, but if she brings one...I'm bringing home 2 more

I made these notes the other day,

Notes on culture/dating/romance/sex post 2012/2014

hyper focus on individualization, shown through:

AirPods: ex. being worn everywhere and never taken off
Personalized playlists: ex. everything curated to you and not just a body of music
Personalized settings on Youtube
The rise of Netflix streaming service
Social media profiles curated by user
Dating apps curated the same way
Social media's focus on individual identity
The rise of the personal essay in media, the first person perspective/experience, Ex. I was ghosted by my last date. Here's why I never text first.
Hyper focus on bodies as a brand
obviously smart phone 'fog' ex. people walk around just staring into a phone
Therapy speak/trauma
Personalized reviews, yelp, Uber, Lyft, Door Dash, that kind of thing
The playlist and context collapse/news feed

@re'up is this true ??

I'll watch that later and respond.

Nightlife, I mean there's spots in San Diego and all over where you can go, and it's wall to wall attractive women, lounges, those kinds of places. But they often have the same dynamic as a night club, where it's all mostly ego validation/alcohol, and the main thing with clubs is that they are a fantasy for most people, acting out their fantasies as powerful ballers or empowered women, or whatever it is.

Both scenarios still are relying heavily on about a 6-8 hour time frame, lots of cuffing and lots of alcohol, to get anywhere physical, besides like a quick make out. My friends love it but I only go about 1/3 of the time. doesn't feel authentic to me.

Crazy part is breh met her on tinder back in the golden age of the app. Go on tinder now if hinge is target then tinder is the Walmart of dating apps :russ: . Sure the items are cheaper but the quality is hot trash
Facts. It was pure. The shots I missed on Tinder in that era would've been screenshotted and clowned in the current age of dating today lmaooo

This is an example of a movies being made significantly to appeal to social media debates/arguments. This was workshopped in a marketing room in west LA. I know movies and everything else have marketing attached, but pandering so glaringly to social media, it's not the way movies worked in the 90's. or anytime before 2016 or so. The filmmakers made a movie, that caused debate/outrage, not the other way around, ex. Fatal Attraction, Scarface, Dressed to Kill.
