This where having hobbies/a life comes in. Keeps you in contact with people where you aren't a hermit and lonely and the interactions are usually centered around relatability or learning and new experiences rather than the odd hunt that can lead into trying to prove yourself.

When dudes don't have stuff they like to do they tend to get into scarcity mode and then the issues arise.
